Social Media & Community Manager – 6-month contract

Are you currently working agency side and looking for a step in-house? This is an amazing opportunity to lead community and social activities in the UK for a global FMCG, creating and optimising content, and engaging with consumers to drive positive brand perception.
We’re looking for someone who can work at pace to plan, manage and track social media, including Paid, Organic Social and Influencer campaigns working alongside our EMEA Media Manager, Social and Content Manager and Media Agency Partners using both Sprinklr and Social Business Manager tools.
This role is a contract, initially for six months, with the possibility for extension/permanent
What you’ll do
Create world class content, measuring and tracking performance
Provide monthly reports to the business, using Sprinklr and snapshots of real time trends
Lead the strategy and direction for the Brand, informed by the wider Social and Content Strategy, Media Strategy and Brand Objectives
Help to deliver the social test and learn plan for the brand and explore new opportunities alongside the EMEA Media Manager
Proactively manage emerging issues with our Customer Services team to drive, shape and protect the brand reputation
Educated to degree level
2-3 years’ experience in a Social and/or Media role, with experience managing social communities for brands, creating content and delivering Paid Social campaigns. Knowledge of Sprinklr and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills; experience interacting with Senior stakeholders both internally and externally with Agency partners
Passion for social media and creating content; enthusiastic approach and excellent communication skills. Ability to manage and prioritise projects in a fast-paced environment.
