Senior Customer Development Manager – Execution Excellence
£65k-£75k + car£ + bonus

This newly created role is designed to drive focus on the ‘last 50 yards’ of execution and partners the Sales, Shopper Marketing and Commercial Strategy teams to ensure plans are executed in line with customer strategies and to a high standard. This role has five key elements to it; creation of rules and standards; rapid learning against these and course correction; forming clear assessment points; driving capability and aligning across the business for success. As this role is new, the individual will assess what elements are needed and will shape and define the role accordingly. This will require a strategic vision, focus on standards, and ability to lead in ambiguity.

Key Responsibilities:
• Own execution excellence standards and create infrastructure to support achieving these
• Align critical metrics for each initiative e.g. YOY improvements in feature and display, distribution, promo laydown
• Raise capability and focus of execution across the organisation
• Create external tools with multi-functional teams to drive sell in perfection
• Shape the Customer elements of the Annual Planning Cycle

Experience Required:
• Experience in a commercial FMCG/CPG and/or retail environment; executing initiatives to high standards, understanding of customer needs, and winning shoppers
• Excellent communicator and collaborator specifically skilled at influencing
• Performance and project management orientated, ability to adapt to change and a solution focused approach
• Experience of creating excitement and theatre for customers
